Privacy

Local first.

DiviScout is designed so broker CSV and PDF imports are processed in your browser. The portfolio file you choose is not uploaded to DiviScout servers and is not stored server-side.

01

What stays local

Broker export files, parsed transactions, holdings, dividends, returns and tax calculations are handled in the browser session. This reduces risk because there is no server-side portfolio file to leak and no broker login or password for DiviScout to hold.

02

What can be sent

Contact forms and email capture forms send the details you type, plus limited context such as import status or source label when shown in the form. Lightweight app events may be logged server-side for debugging and product analytics.

Parse events do not include file contents or filenames. They only include coarse metadata such as file count, file extensions, whether parsing succeeded, and aggregate row/holding counts.

03

Broker accounts

The import tools do not require a broker login. If live Trading 212 API support is enabled later, use read-only credentials unless you deliberately choose otherwise.
